Spring Must Haves

Happy Spring!
I absolutely love Spring time!! I feel like it just puts me in a really good mood. Maybe it's the warmer weather, the pastels, flowers, cute clothing, or maybe it's the pretty nail polish. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I just love Spring Time!
Here are a few things I say are a must for the Spring...
(if you click on the picture, it will take you to the website BeautySets which can show you exactly where I found each item)

Beautysets - shoes

1. I am so madly in love with these adorable crochet TOMS shoes. They would be perfect if you are going somewhere that you have to have closed toes shoes..such as an amusement park. Plus, I think the crochet is so girly and just screams Spring to me!

2. Sandals! You have to have some cute sandals. I love these animal print ones from Forever 21.

3. Colored wedges are everywhere this Spring! I have seen them in pretty pastels and in bright neon colors. You can never go wrong with a pair of wedges in the Spring! They go with pretty much everything...dresses, skirts, and skinny jeans!

Beautysets - Accessories

1. These bubble necklaces are pretty much everywhere now. I think they are so cute, especially the pastel ones such as this pink one. You don't have to pay a fortune for them either. Charlotte Russe has them for a very reasonable price! I think this necklace would look adorable with a white blouse and mint skinny jeans!

2. Fedora hats are a must for me for Spring and Summer. I am very much in love with them! They are so cute with maxi dresses and even if you find yourself near the water this Spring. They look so cute with a bathing suit!

3. Since the sun will be gracing us with it's presence, sunglasses are a must! Protect those eyes and keep those crows feet away for as long as possible. I love those aviators!!
Beautysets - clothing

1. Colored jeans are another hot item this Spring. I have seen mint and coral jeans just about everywhere and I completely understand why...they are just too adorable!

2. Maxi dresses are one of my favorite things in the Spring. I love wearing them because they are perfect for day and night. Spring weather is so unpredictable where I can be really warm during the day, but very cool at night, so the maxi dress would be great for either.

3. I am loving the colored shorts this Spring. They are so cute and so girly!

What are some of your favorite things for the Spring?

1st trip to Lush..Need your help....

Hey y'all!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am excited that this week is only going to be a 4 day week for me at work. It is definitely very nice to have a long weekend every once in awhile, right?! ;)
So my birthday is coming up very soon, April 8th to be exact! And my extremely sweet (and very handsome) husband is going to take me out of town for the weekend of my birthday. There is a Lush Store near where we will be staying and since I have never been to a Lush store or bought anything from there I need YOUR help! I only own one thing from Lush that my sister bought me for my birthday last year. So I definitely need advice on what I should get.
Is there a bathbomb that you recommend or do you have a favorite product from there
that you think I should check out?

Ipsy Glam Bag March 2013

Hey beauties!
I am so impressed with Ipsy lately and so happy that I decided to renew my subscription with them. I was so excited when I saw all the sneak peak pictures of the March Glam Bag. It looked AMAZING and after getting it..It is definitely my favorite bag from them!
Look how adorable the bag is this month!! I am so in love with it! It doesn't feel cheaply made like some of the previous bags have. I love the nautical look!
La Fresh Travel-Lite Makeup Remover Wipes
I am so excited to try out these makeup remover wipes!! I have never tried anything from the La Fresh, but have definitely wanted to. There is 8 wipes in this cute little packet.
Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist
Another product I am so excited to try out! It tones and refreshes your skin with a blend of rosehip, ylang ylang, grapeseed oil and organic juices. This is a really good sized is 1FL Oz. I have tried a few products from Juice Beauty and I really liked all of them.
Yabi Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Seashell and Azalea Petal
I have never heard of Yabi Cosmetics before, so I was anxious to see if these eyeshadows were any good. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of them. They are not pigmented at all! I could barely see either one of them after I swatched them. What a bummer!
Glam RX Mini Palette
I am in love with this adorable palette. It is so cute and perfect to fit in your purse.
The palette has a mirror inside with a magnetic bottom. It is perfect for eyeshadows or even bobby pins. The Yaby eyeshadows fit perfectly and stay in place in this palette.

Project 20 Pan Update

Hey there! I hope you all had a great weekend.
I thought I would update you on my Project 20 challenge.
If you are unsure what the Project 20 Pan Challenge, it is where you use up or hit
"pan" on 20 items. You can also read more about it here.
I must admit though I haven't gone this entire time without
purchasing anything...I have bought a few things here and there. BUT I made myself a promise that I had to use up a product completely before I could buy something new.
Here are some of the items I have used up since I started the challenge...
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Perfume
I love this perfume! It is actually my very first perfume I have ever used up completely. It has such a sweet fruity, girly scent that isn't overpowering.
Would I repurchase?
Definitely! But not right now..I need to use some of other perfumes a little more first.
Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover
I received this sample size in a Lancome gift set that I bought at Sephora. It is a liquid eye makeup remover that is meant for sensitive skin. I really liked this stuff. It did not irritate my eyes or skin at all.
Would I repurchase?
Maybe. Even though I really liked this remover,
I feel like there could be cheaper drugstore versions. I may try out a few drugstore brands and if I don't find one that I like as much as this one then I will definitely repurchase.

Joico Color Endure Conditioner
I am definitely a huge fan of this conditioner. This is actually not my first bottle of this and definitely won't be my last. I love Joico products! I bought this bottle when I got my highlights in my hair to help the color keep its tone and last. I think it definitely helped with both of those things!
Would I repurchase?
Definitely! I am back to my natural hair color,
so I will probably buy a different version of Joico line though.
Pantene Brunette Expressions Conditioner
I was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked this conditioner. I am usually not a big Pantene fan, but I really enjoyed this conditioner. It made my hair very soft and silky.  It has a really nice scent as well!
Would I repurchase?
I am really curious to see if I would like the shampoo in this line.
L'Oreal EverPure Sulfate-Free Color Care Shampoo
I was not really impressed with this shampoo. It made my hair feel really dry and the scent is very strong. I tried a Conditioner from the L'Oreal Sulfate-Free line (click here to read it) and really liked it, so I was bummed when I didn't like this product.
Would I repurchase?
Kenra Volume Spray
So in love with this hair spray! I wasn't sure if it would work,
so I only got the small version of it. I was definitely impressed with it. It definitely gives my hair that volume that I love in my hair!
Would I repurchase?
KQC Thermal Shine
I bought this after watching a beauty guru from YouTube (sorry can't remember who) rave about this heat protectant spray. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. I mean I didn't see a huge difference in my hair after using, but I also didn't find anything bad about it.
Would I repurchase?
ehh maybe not. I think there are drugstore heat protectant sprays
that are just as good for MUCH cheaper!
HerStyler Nourishing & Moisturizing Conditioner
I got this conditioner with a hair straightener I bought. It is supposed to repair hair structure, calm frizz, and restore shine for healthy-looking results. It definitely made my hair shiny after using it.
It wasn't the best Conditioner I have ever used, but it wasn't the worst either.
Would I repurchase?
probably not. It is a little too expensive to be just an okay product.

Suave Creamy Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash
This body wash smells delicious!
It definitely leaves your skin feeling extremely soft. The only thing I don't really like about it is that it is very goopy and thick when it comes out. I know, that sounds strange.
Would I repurchase?
Probably not. Even though I like the smell, the texture is a little too weird for me.
Bath & Body Works' Honey Autumn Apple Creamy Body Scrub
This is one of my favorite Fall scents from Bath & Body Works.
It smells beyond AMAZING!
It has exfoliating sugar crystals combined with Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil
that leaves your feeling so soft and smooth. I love this stuff!!
Would I repurchase?
Most definitely! Unfortunately, I have to wait until the Fall to get this scent.
Tone Purifying White Clay & Pink Jasmine Body Wash
This body wash smells so fresh and clean. It has a blend of white clay, jasmine
extract, and Vitamin E. It made my skin feel extremely soft.
Would I repurchase?
So there you have it! That is an update on where I am with my "Project 20 Pan."

P.S. I am sure everyone has heard about Google getting rid of GFC very soon.

February Favorites

I can't believe it's already March!
This year is flying by!!
I think March is going to be a great month.
Before I start going on and on about how excited I am
about SPRING just around the corner..
There are a few products that I wanted to show yall
that I really loved in February.

First, products for the eye area that I loved this month...

E.L.F.'s Eyelid Primer
for a review of this product, click here.

CoverGirl's Clump Crusher Mascara
oh yes, I think everybody and their cat has been talking
about the Clump Crusher mascara.
I really really enjoy this mascara!
It does an amazing job of lengthening and separating my lashes.
It has quickly became in my top favorite mascaras!
For the Face:

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder
This bronzer is beyond amazing.
It not only has a beautiful color to it, but it smells like chocolate!
Oh yes, I said chocolate!! You can only smell the scent when it's still in the package and when you first apply it to your face, but after a few mins
you can't smell it at all anymore.
It is really great at contouring your face.

17 Blusher in the shade "First Kiss"
A gorgeous pink blush with gold shimmer that gives
your cheeks a beautiful natural glow.
It is very pigmented, easily blendable, and is not chalky at all.

Rumor has it that it could possibly be a
dupe for NARS Orgasm, but a little more "pink"....

For the Lips:

This has been my favorite combo this month!
MUA Out There Plumping Gloss lip gloss in "Buff" and the
Maybelline Color Whisper in "Lust For Blush" alone are absolutely gorgeous,
but when you put the two together...A match made in Heaven!

For a review and pictures on the MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss

Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick in "Lust for Blush"
This is a "your lip color, but better" lipstick!
It is so soft, smooth, and just glides across your lips.
It feels very light on your lips.
I believe I actually like the Color Whispers
better than the Revlon Lip Butters...GASP!

The top swatch is the Color Whisper alone.
The bottom swatch is the lipstick and lipgloss together.

For the Body:
 Jimmy Choo Perfume
I am so in love with this perfume!
It smells so so good!!
I get so many compliments everytime I wear this perfume.
The scent lasts all day, but is not overwhelming.
I think the bottle looks so very classy.

What were some of your favorite products in February?

Review: e.l.f.'s Eyelid Primer

Hey beauties!
I have never really tried any products from the brand, e.l.f., until recently.
I have to admit I have always thought since they are extremely inexpensive that they would be cheaply made and not worth spending any money on.
I have now a few products from them and
I was definitely wrong with my earlier statement.
The products that I have tried from the brand I really like!
I ran out of my beloved NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
(for my review of this product click HERE) about 2 weeks ago.
I didn't feel like driving to Sephora (about 45 min drive from my house),
so I just went to Target to see what I could find.
I ended up getting the Eyelid Primer by E.L.F.
The eyelid primer is amazing! It helped my eyeshadow last almost all day. I did have a little bit of creasing after about 10 hours, but hey I think that's still pretty good! It has a doe-foot applicator so you basically just paint it on your eyelids and then blend it in with your finger all over the lid and under the bottom eyelashes (or at least that's how I apply mine). I got the "sheer-toned" one, so it has a skin-toned color to it. I am really not crazy about the packaging is really hard to get all of the product out of it once you get close to using most of the product and get to close to the bottom. I did have that same problem with Urban Decay's Primer Potion and NARS' Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Base, so I wouldn't say this is a "deal-breaker".
I would definitely recommend this product!
Best thing about this product?!?!
It is only $1
whaaat?!?! yep, that's right..just a buck!
