Products Empties

So today's post is going to be about the products I have used up within the past couple of months. I started the Project 20 Pan at the beginning of the year. If you want to read about it, click HERE. I have to admit, I definitely broke the rules here and there. I did end up using up more than 20 products, but I definitely didn't stop buying. Oops!
It was definitely a lot harder than I thought. :/

But here are some of the products I have used up and my thoughts...

Left to Right

Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub
I am literally obsessed with this stuff! It is so gentle on your skin, but really cleans your skin. I have already bought another bottle of this. It helps with active breakouts and hyperpigmentation. It is a must for me! I talked about this product in my Current Facial Cleansing Routine, found HERE.

Clarisonic Acne Daily Clarifying Cleanser
I originally bought this cleanser to use with Clarisonic, but turns out even the sensitive brush head on my Clarisonic is too much for my sensitive skin (HUGE bummer). So I ended up just using it without the Clarisonic and I loved it! It did a great job of cleaning my face and leaving it extremely soft! It is on the pricier side and I ended up falling in love with the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, so I don't have any plans of repurchasing it anytime soon.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
This stuff is so good to my sensitive skin. It is so gentle and moisturizing. As you can tell, I have gone through 2 bottles of this (granted one is a deluxe sized sample) and I have already repurchased a large bottle of it. It is on the pricier side as well, but is definitely worth every penny! It says it is good for all skin types, but I highly recommend it for sensitive skin! I also talked about this product in my Current Facial Cleansing Routine post, found HERE.

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser
I really liked this product, but I don't think it is one that I have to have. I love that it is organic. It has a very strong scent which can be a deal breaker for some people. My husband couldn't stand the smell to it, but it didn't bother me that bad. It goes away after a few minutes though. It did a good job of cleansing and helping prevent blemishes.

Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover
I really liked this eye makeup remover and thought it did a really good job at removing my waterproof mascara. I feel like there are cheaper eye makeup removers at the drugstore that can do just as good of a job though.

okay, so I have to admit I am addicted, well I was, addicted to facial cleansing wipes!

Left to Right:

Simple Eye Make-Up Remover Pads
This product was such a FAIL in my opinion. It was awful! It was so rough on my eyes. It says it removes waterproof mascara..well I don't think so! I had to rub over and over again to try to get my mascara off, and then by that point my eyes were so red and irritated. The wipes also dried out very quickly. I made sure after every use I had the packet sealed very tightly. I ended up using the wipes to dust off my vanity..just so I could use them all up! I will not be repurchasing these!

Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes
Now this product from Simple I do like! It is very gentle and the wipes stayed moist until the very end. It does do a good job of cleansing and feels very soft on your skin.

Alba Botanica's Hawaiian 3-in-1 Clean Towelettes
This is a makeup remover, cleanser, and toner all in one. I think it did a really good job at all three. It has such a lovely scent to it. It is 100% Vegetarian which I loved! They weren't super moist, but it was definitely enough to clean your face with. My face felt "tight" after I used it and I am sure it is because of the pineapple in it or possibly the grapefruit?

Absolute Make-Up Cleansing Tissues
This is made with Green Tea Extract and Vitamin E. You can definitely tell because it made my skin feel very moisturized! But they were just okay to me. They weren't the best cleansing wipes I have ever used, but they weren't the worst. I did have to use two wipes if I wanted to get my face completely clean.

La Fresh Makeup Remover Wipes
These wipes did not remove most of my eyeshadow or mascara.
It also has a pretty strong scent, so beware! They are very moist and soft. It would be great if you aren't wearing a lot of eye makeup and are on the go!

Summer Favorites- Part 2

Hey beauties! :)
So yesterday I posted a few of my favorite makeup products that I was loving this Summer, if you would like to read it, click HERE. I decided to split the post because I was loving so many different products this Summer!
So today's post will be more of hair products, body, nails, perfume, and misc.

Hair Products

1. Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque
I love love love this masque! I actually use it year round, but the Summer and Winter months are when I use it the most. The hot sun can really dry out your hair so it is good to use a good deep repair mask. Plus, this one smells sooo good!

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo
This is the only dry shampoo that I have found that actually works! I couldn't tell you how many times I have tried dry shampoos and been so disappointed. I want to try the one for brunettes now. Bonus, I got this at T.J. Maxx for $5.99! So check out your TJ Maxx or Marshalls to see if they have any Batiste products!

3. L'Oreal EverStyle Alcohol-Free Smooth & Shine Creme
I did a review and raved about this before (HERE). I love the way it makes my hair feel so silky and look so shiny. As you can tell, I have basically used it all up.

Body & Nail Polish

1. Vaseline's Spray & Go Moisturizer
I am literally obsessed with this stuff! It is so easy to use...You just spray, rub it in, and then go on with your day! It also smells delicious!

2. Turquoise & Caicos by Essie
3. Lauren by Julep
4. Rich Raspberry by Revlon

Perfume

Instant Vacation by Avon
I got this ages ago, but it is still one of my favorite Summer scents. It smells like suntan oil and coconuts to me which screams SUMMER! I am not even sure if they still make it, so I barely spray myself so I don't use it all up!

 Misc.
My Monogrammed Beach Bag
I took this with me everywhere this Summer! It went to the beach with me (as you can tell), to the pool, to weekend getaways, and everywhere in between! It is huge, so I can fit the entire house in it.

So what are your favorite products/items
that you loved this Summer?

Summer Favorites- Makeup Edition

I can't believe Summer is starting to come to an end! I have mixed feelings about it...we recently got a pool, so I want to be able to spend more days lounging out in it and having cookouts with my husband, but on the other hand I am very excited about Fall. I love everything about Fall! Yes, I probably say that about every season, but I really love Fall. I can't wait to wear boots and leggings, smell pumpkin pie throughout my house, and all of the other amazing stuff about Fall!

I never ended up doing any monthly favorite posts this Summer, so I rounded up the products that I was loving this entire Summer! Since I had a very hard time narrowing it down to just a few of my favorites I ended up splitting this post into two different posts. So make sure you check out tomorrow's post to see my other favorite items from this Summer! :)

Makeup Products

1. CoverGirl Clump Crusher Waterproof
I got this right before I went to the Beach and let me tell you it was a life saver! It rained most of the trip or was extremely humid. I never had to worry about my mascara running!

2. MUA Heaven and Earth Palette
This has been my go-to eyeshadow palette this Summer! It is small enough to go in my purse, but has HUGE pigmentation! I went for a neutral eye look most of the Summer, so this palette was perfect for it! For a full review, click HERE.

3. Urban Decay's De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray
This was my lifesaver this Summer! I already have oily skin, but mix in the hot, humid weather and I look like a hot mess! This product really helped me control my oil! I already have another bottle of this for backup when I run out of this current one I am using. I love it that much!

4. Makeup For Ever HD Powder
This is another product that really helped control my oily skin this Summer! It is definitely a splurge, but well worth it! I would pat this on my T-Zone area and not have to worry about it for a long time!

5. The Balm's Hot Mama Blush
Such a gorgeous coral blush! Rumor has it that it's a dup for Orgasm by Nars.

6. Dollface by Tarte
Another must have blush! I actually wear this year round because I love it so much, but I wore it a ton this Summer! It is a beautiful light pink with blue undertones.

7. Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush by Pop Beauty
This lip crayon is very moisturizing and just glides on your lips. It is more of a hot pink with coral undertones and I loooove it!

What are some of your favorite makeup products
 that you loved this Summer?

Showing Football Pride- Part 1

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Football Time!!
So if you don't follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you probably don't realize how big of a sports fan I am... Mainly College Football. I absolutely love me some SEC! And even though I am from Tennessee, I am the biggest UF Gators fan! Last year around this time I did a post on how to dress cute, but still support your team. If you didn't see it, you can click HERE.

This year I thought I would do a few nail posts to get you in the spirit! I got my first inspiration from MissJenFabulous' post, Super Bowl Football Nails, for her blog, Polish and Pearls.

So I changed it up a bit to make it for my team colors and here is what I came up with...

This is definitely one of the easiest nail looks ever!
It took me less than 10 minutes to complete it.

I won't give you step-by-step directions on how to create this look because it is pretty self explanatory just by looking at the picture.
But I will show you which polishes I used to create the look though!

Left to right
Sally Hanson "Sun Kissed"
Revlon "French Roast"
Revlon "Indigo Night"

Left to Right
O.P.I. Natural Nail Base Coat
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat
Kiss Nail Art Paint in "White"

Hope you enjoyed this look!!
Go Gators! ;)

POPSUGAR Must Have Box | August 2013

Hey beauties!
So I was asked a few weeks ago to be a POPSUGAR Select Beauty Blogger. I couldn't be more excited and honored to be a part of POPSUGAR Team! One out of the million other reasons I am thrilled to death to be part of their team is that I had the opportunity to be sent a complimentary POPSUGAR Must Have Box for the month of August. I have been wanting to subscribe to this service for quite some time because one of my favorite bloggers, Ashley from Beauty Flawed, always does posts on what she receives in her box and it is always amazing stuff!

For those of you who haven't ever heard of the POPSUGAR'S Must Have Box or if you have, but aren't really sure what it's about..well let me introduce it to you! :)
Each month the editors of POPSUGAR come together to build a box of some of their "must have" items. It can be anything from fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more.
It is $35/month or you can pay for 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months and get a discount.

So here is everything I got in the August box...

1. Bentgo All-In One Stackable Lunch Box--Home Item
How cute is this?! I am always looking for stuff to carry my lunch in, so this is just perfect for me! I love that it is made from eco-friendly and healthy materials (BPA Free). It is dishwasher safe (a must for me because I hate washing dishes by hand...yuck!) and microwave safe.
It also includes a fork, spoon, and knife!! Yeah!

2. Granny Smith Apples from Naturebox--Food Item
This was this month's Special extra item. POPSUGAR actually teamed up with another subscription service, NatureBox, to bring this treat to this month's box. I was very excited when I first saw this item because I love dried fruit, but I have to admit I was definitely let down when I tried one. They have no taste whatsoever and are so chewy..like you can't stop chewing and chewing.

3. Dermalogica's Precleanse and Special Cleansing Gel--Beauty Item
I have always wanted to try Dermalogica's products, so I was very excited to see these babies! POPSUGAR claims these two items will change your skin regimen completely,
so we will see if that is true!

4. Gorgana Open Circle Necklace---Jewelry Item
August made one year since the POPSUGAR'S Must Have Boxes launched, so this item was their anniversary present to all of the subscribers. I love this necklace! It is very simple and classy.

5. May Designs Weekly Agenda Notebook--Home Item
Okay, I am literally OBSESSED with May Books! I love love love them! If you follow me on Instagram (wait, why did I say "If"..you better be following me there!! ;)you would have seen the one I customized for myself. You can customize these books however you want. But I love the design they chose for the POPSUGAR box. I mean hello, you can never go wrong with chevron! And a company that has the slogan "People against ugly notebooks" will always get my vote!

6. Lulah Body Wash in Tamarind Ginger--Beauty Item
First of all, I think the packaging is very adorable! It would definitely get my attention if I saw it at the store. It has a very fresh scent to it and I can't wait to try it out!

7. Lunares Apple Bowl--Home Item
Can you say adorable?!!! I love this cute little apple bowl. It says it is suitable for any hot or cold foods or could be used on your desk maybe to hold some supplies.
So many possibilities which one should I choose?!!

So there you have it, all of the items I got in my August POPSUGAR Must Have Box!
I have to say I am definitely impressed!

What do you think about the box this month?
